Professional Qualifications:
For Female Applicants: Candidates must have passed a three (03) years Diploma in General Nursing or a one (01) year Diploma in Midwifery from a recognized Nursing Examination Board.
For Male Applicants: Candidates must have passed a three (03) years Diploma in General Nursing or a one (01) year specialist course (in lieu of midwifery) from a recognized Nursing Examination Board.
Registration with Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC) is mandatory.
Diploma in Trauma & Emergency (Post Basic – 1 Year)
Applicants seeking admission to the Diploma in Trauma & Emergency (Post Basic – 1 Year) program at the State College of Nursing are required to submit the following documents at the time of admission:
SSC (Matric) Certificate
HSSC (F.Sc Pre-Medical) Certificate
HSSC (F.Sc) Detailed Marks Certificate (DMC)
Domicile Certificate
Character Certificate from the last attended institution
Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC)
CNIC copy of Father / Guardian
Recent passport-size photographs
Medical Fitness Certificate issued by an authorized Medical Officer

Registration with Pakistan Nursing & Midwifery Council (PNMC) is mandatory.
No Objection Certificate (NOC) & Attestation
In-service candidates who are employees of the Health Department, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, shall be required to obtain a departmental No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the competent authority.
All academic and professional certificates must be properly attested by the relevant authorities in accordance with the prescribed admission instructions.
Candidates who have passed their HSSC (F.Sc) examination from any Board other than the Punjab Boards shall be required to submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) to the University of Health Sciences (UHS) from their respective Boards.
Selected candidates shall also be required to get their SSC (Matric) and HSSC (F.Sc) certificates attested by the Inter Board Committee of Chairmen (IBCC).
